Quart Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Rusty Metal Primer Oil Based stops rust and prevents corrosion. Apply directly over heavily rusted metal to allow adhesion for finishes. Works with bare or previously painted metal. Note: use Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Clean Metal Primer on clean or lightly rusted metal. Bonds tightly to rust to form a surface top coats can adhere to. For indoor or outdoor use. Durable and corrosion resistant. For best results top coat when fully dry, usually 24 hours.
